Why small businesses switch to managed IT
Most small businesses don’t have an IT problem until they suddenly do. A laptop dies the week of a deadline, an employee leaves and nobody can get into their email, or a phishing message gets through and someone has to figure out what happened. Break/fix support handles the emergency, but nobody is responsible for preventing the next one.
Managed IT flips that. We monitor and maintain your systems every day, so most problems get fixed before anyone notices them. When something does need attention, you reach the person who already knows your setup instead of explaining it from scratch.
What changes in the first month
During onboarding we document every account, device and vendor, tighten up Microsoft 365 security, confirm backups actually restore, and get every computer on automated patching. By the end, you have a clear picture of what you own, what it costs, and what’s at risk.

FAQ
Managed IT & Help Desk questions
What's the difference between managed IT and break/fix?
Break/fix means you call someone after something breaks and pay by the hour. Managed IT means we're responsible for keeping things from breaking in the first place, for a flat monthly rate. Our incentive is a quiet month, not a busy one.
Can you support us if we're not near Vancouver, WA?
Yes. Managed IT is delivered remotely, so location doesn't change the service. When something needs hands-on work, we handle on-site projects nationwide.
Do you support Macs?
Yes, we manage Windows and macOS devices side by side.
